Description
The study rooms are available for check out and/or reservation by groups or individuals.
Southern Wake (Main) Campus Study Rooms:
- Rooms 111 and 110: In-room computers, secondary displays, dry erase boards, tables, and chairs.
- Rooms 109 and 107: In-room computers, dry erase boards, tables, and chairs.
Capacity: Maximum of five (5) students per room.
Academic Use Only: If you're not engaged in academic work or leave the room unattended for over 10 minutes, the library may remove your belongings and make the room available to others.
Reservation Grace Period: If you do not show up within 10 minutes of your booking start time, the reservation will be canceled and reassigned if someone is waiting.
- Maximum booking period is 2 hours per group or individual.
- Groups cannot switch student IDs to exceed the 2-hour limit.
- Study rooms can be reserved up to 1 week in advance (minimum of 12 hours ahead).
- Same day reservations are not permitted.
- Study rooms are first-come, first-served after the advance reservation window closes.
- All study rooms must be vacated 10 minutes prior to library closing:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 PM
- Hours may vary during breaks, holidays, or early closings.
- Click on the date you want in the calendar.
- Select the starting time slot for the room you want. Your reservation will default to the 2-hour maximum. You may check out earlier if finished.
- Acknowledge the usage policies by clicking "Continue".
- Fill in the required information and click "Submit my Booking". Use your Wake Tech student email.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly. If you can’t keep your booking, cancel using the link in the confirmation email so others may reserve.
- To access the study room, all students must present their Wake Tech student ID card. This applies to all group members.
