Eagle Cast Teaching Studio Change Location

The Eagle Cast Teaching Studio is an easy-to-use digital video production studio that requires no prior video production experience. It is available to Wake Tech faculty and staff with a valid Wake Tech ID.

Studio Locations:

  • SD 114 – Howell Library (Southern Wake Campus)
  • NF 343 – Scott Northern Wake Campus Library (Scott Northern Wake Campus)

Examples of Projects:

  • Creating videos for online instruction
  • Rehearsing for class presentations
  • Creating videos for recruitment, training, or professional development seminars
  • Practicing public speaking skills
  • Recording a group interview or podcast
  • And much more!

Reserve the Studio Online:

To reserve a single date:

  • Select your desired date
  • Enter start and end time (maximum 3 hours)
  • Click "Search"
  • Choose your studio and click "Book Now"
  • Enter the required information and click "Submit my Booking"
  • You will receive a confirmation email

To reserve multiple dates:

  • Click the “Search by Space” tab
  • Select your studio and click "Show Availability"
  • Select your first date and time
  • Add more time slots in 30-minute increments (3 hour max)
  • Repeat to add multiple dates
  • Click "Submit Times" and then "Submit my Booking"
  • You will receive a confirmation email

Check-In Process: Visit the front desk at Howell Library or the Scott Northern Wake Campus Library with your Wake Tech ID to access the studio.


Instructions for Using the Eagle Cast Teaching Studio:

  • Power on the system using the touch panel
  • Sign in to the in-room PC with Wake Tech credentials
  • Open Teams and launch your class
  • If Recording in Teams:
    • Select “Start Record” under the “More” menu
    • Select “Stop Record” when class ends
    • Recording will appear in the class chat
  • If Recording in Yuja:
    • Log in at waketech.video.yuja.com
    • Click “Create Recording” > “Browser Capture”
    • Your recording will be saved under “My Media”
  • If Teaching a Synchronous Online Class:
    • Teach as usual in your Teams class
    • Log off when done and power down using the touch panel
